• Create a small boat and sail it on the waves in a giant pool, which you may have helped to build yourself.

And if the sun is shining, we’ll even have some outdoor water games to cool off and have fun.

Throughout the workshop, you will discover the world of sound in all its forms: notes, noises, vibrations, strange melodies, and electrifying rhythms. On the program: sound experiments, technological crafts, cultural discoveries… and above all, lots of fun listening, creating, and playing!

Here are some of the activities you could experience:

Create electronic sound effects and explore how to transform everyday sounds into special effects.
Make your own musical instruments using FabLab machines, such as laser cutters and vinyl cutters.
Put together an orchestra of robot musicians and discover how to make machines play rhythms.
Embark on a musical exploration with visits to the Musical Instrument Museum, the opera, and other places where music comes to life.
Invent sound objects that react, vibrate, jingle, or groove according to your ideas.

Each day will be an opportunity to experiment, tinker, create unlikely sounds, and share great moments as a group.
An immersive week where your ears, hands, and imagination will be challenged!

On Friday afternoon, we will invite parents and friends to discover the musical creations and experiences of the week.

Participants will learn how to cut out the shape of their mask using a vinyl cutter, then move on to decorating it with colors, textures, patterns, and more. Everyone will be able to give free rein to their creativity.
Once their masks are ready, they will learn how to assemble a small light circuit and integrate LEDs directly into their creations to make them shine.

A fun and accessible activity that combines discovering the FabLab’s machines, DIY, and imagination.
